Every ministry or pastor will be challenged with the differences of age within the congregation.  For the 1^st time in history we have 5 generations navigating life.  And they show up at church with different needs and expectations.  Compounding the challenge is that church is to reflect being “a family.” 

Church polity will often determine leaderships strategy and position on how the ministry will approach this challenge.  Regardless of leadership style and implementation incorporating all segments of the congregation is an ongoing challenge.

We believe that those who are in the 2^nd half of life should be trained and have an expectation to exemplify a level of maturity and responsibility based on scripture.  (Hebrews 5:12-14 and 1 Corinthians 3:2 express expectations of maturity.
